Cameras everywhere.
Awareness nowhere.

You bought cameras to watch your home.
The ones you own don't tell you anything.
The ones that do — aren't yours.

47/day
Motion alerts you scroll past

The cameras you own don't watch back.

You bought a camera so you'd know what happens at home. Most days, you don't. It records hours of footage, fires off 47 motion notifications, and you read none of them. Footage piles up. Nobody opens it. Your home is recorded — not understood.

Source: VOC mining of major home-camera communities, 2024–26. Alert fatigue is the most common complaint across cloud and local cameras alike — and the reason "AI summary" ranks as the #1 unmet feature request.
13,000
Households shown into strangers' homes

The cameras that watch aren't yours.

Cloud cameras send the inside of your home — your kitchen, your hallway, your kids — to a server room you've never seen. Their staff can see it. Their breaches can leak it. In February 2024, 13,000 households were shown someone else's living room by mistake.

Source: CNN, Washington Post — Feb 2024 cloud-camera incident. ~13,000 users were shown thumbnails from cameras they didn't own; 1,500 clicked through and viewed strangers' footage.
Fammai hub — cream-finished cube with walnut base and amber status LED

Fammai on
your shelf.

Not a camera. The AI brain for the cameras you already own. Connects over Wi-Fi or Ethernet to any ONVIF, RTSP, or standard IP camera. 7-billion-parameter model on-device. 1 TB of local rolling storage. Pre-configured. Purpose-built. Yours — by architecture, not by promise.

Plug. Pair.
Read your briefs.

You bring power and Wi-Fi.
We bring the AI.
The setup is the unboxing.

01 / 03 — PLUG

Set the hub.

Anywhere with a power outlet and Wi-Fi. USB-C in, Ethernet optional. Status LED breathes amber when ready. No terminal. No Docker. No config files.

02 / 03 — PAIR

The agent does it for you.

Fammai's agent scans your network, finds your cameras, and connects to them itself. No protocols, no IP addresses, no manual setup. You confirm what to watch and what to ignore.

03 / 03 — READ

Morning + afternoon.

Two briefs a day, 8 AM and 5 PM by default. Plain English. The things that mattered, the things that didn't. Safety alerts (fire, fall, leak) arrive instantly.

Watch. Know.
Ask anything.

Watch the kitchen, the entryway, the stove.
Know what happened — without scrolling footage.
Ask anything — your home, finally, answers.

Watch / Safety

Stove too long

Burner left on, oven mid-cook, pan unattended. Catches the 20-minute window before the smoke alarm even tries.

Fall detected

Configurable rooms, stick-figure-only mode for bedrooms and bathrooms. Senior parents keep their dignity. You still get the call.

Leak, smoke, intruder

Water on the floor. Visible smoke or flame. Glass-break audio. Door left open at night. Alerts arrive in seconds, not nightly.

Know / Brief

Kids home safe

"Backpack came through the door at 3:42." Awareness that the kids are home and the routine is on track — without facial recognition, name tags, or scoring.

Senior patterns

Wake, meals, sleep, wandering, missed routines. The daily "Mom's fine" message you used to drive 90 minutes to confirm.

Pets, visitors, quiet anomalies

Dog let out 3 times. Cat sitter arrived 5:42 PM. Front door opened twice today. The boring update that lets you sleep.

Ask / Memory

Voice or text

"Did anyone feed the dog?" "Did the package get brought in?" "Where did I leave my keys?" Local index, will not leave the device.

Search the past

"Show me the last time the stove was on more than 20 minutes." Rolling 30-day local memory, auto-purged on your schedule.

Custom rules

"Tell me if the dog gets on the couch." "Alert me if Dad's bedroom light is on past midnight." Plain-English, no IFTTT.

Built in,
not bolted on.

AI in the box. Privacy in the schematic.
Cross-platform, open-firmware, hardware-once.
Six things designed in from the start, not bolted on later.

In-Box Intelligence

A 7-billion-parameter vision-language model runs inside the hub itself. Inference happens here, not in a data center. The hardware physically can't reach our servers — we don't operate any.

Bring Your Own Cameras

Works with the Wi-Fi and IP cameras you already own. ONVIF, RTSP, and most standard cams. No new hardware on the wall — just a new brain on the shelf.

Twice-Daily Briefs

Morning at 8 AM, afternoon at 5 PM. Plain English. Replaces the 47 motion alerts your current cameras send. Adjustable cadence and depth — quiet by default.

Hardware Once

One purchase. AI features live inside the device. Software updates free for life. Bring your own keys if you want to route to a cloud LLM — that bill stays between you and the provider. We're not in the loop.

Cross-Platform

iPhone, Android, and web. Matter and Thread native. Your iPhone-using wife and your Android-using father both see the same brief. HomeKit, Google Home, Home Assistant: optional, not required.

Open-Firmware Fallback

If Prizmox shuts down — for any reason — signed last-firmware and unlock keys release to the community. Your $449 isn't a bet on us; it's a one-way purchase.

Questions,
answered.

Most of them. Any camera that supports ONVIF, RTSP, or a standard local stream — that covers the majority of Wi-Fi and IP cameras sold in the last decade. On first boot, the AI agent scans your network, finds your cameras, and walks you through connecting them. No manual IP entry, no port forwarding. The pilot batch will publish a public list of tested models.
Yes — and it's the right skepticism. The pilot batch (50 units, August 2026) ships with a public alert-accuracy dashboard. We publish every false positive and false negative. Conservative thresholds: Fammai under-alerts before it over-alerts. If a use case isn't reliable, we don't ship it.
Architecture, not promise. The hardware physically can't reach our servers — we don't operate any servers for Fammai. Public schematic plus an independent third-party privacy audit within 90 days of ship. If your router goes down, Fammai keeps working. That's how you know.
No. Open-firmware fallback. If Prizmox stops operating, signed last-firmware and unlock keys are released to the community. Your hardware doesn't die when we do.
Most platforms still upload encrypted clips to their cloud, lock you to one phone ecosystem, and don't ship a daily brief or category-aware safety alerts. Fammai keeps everything on-box, works on iPhone + Android + web, and adds the AI features the big platforms don't.
Awareness, not surveillance. Fammai will not identify people — no facial recognition, by permanent commitment. The Daily Brief tells you "the front door opened at 3:42 and a backpack came through" — not who, not what they looked like. Stick-figure privacy mode is available for sensitive rooms. You decide what gets watched, and nothing leaves the box.
Fammai itself is hardware-once. AI features run on the box and software updates are free for life. If you want to route some queries to a cloud LLM (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), you bring your own API key — that bill stays between you and the provider. Fammai is never in the loop. No Fammai cloud account required for core function.
Founders' batch (500 units) ships Q4 2026. Pilot batch (50 units) ships August 2026 to the most engaged waitlist members. 30-day unconditional money-back guarantee. We pay return shipping.
